When tasked with making a video depicting twelve months of something, the first subject that came to my mind was bad CGI sharks. As a fan of Syfy shark movies, I thought that this would be a strange and quirky video. Also, I knew that there were at least twelve horrible shark movies from which I could choose. I compiled all of the clips in Premiere Pro along with an extended version of the “(The Ballad of) Sharknado”. I extended the Sharknado theme song in Garageband. The thumbnail image was created using Midjourney with the prompt, "CGI sharks flipping through a calendar ".
